    May 1, 2001 - Emmylou Harris will be the subject of a 45-song collection, Emmylou Harris Anthology: The Warner/Reprise Years. The anthology includes 23 top-10 country singles, including six #1 songs — as well as many tracks never available in the United States on CD. "Fools Thin Air," "Mama Help" and the Rodney Crowell-penned "Precious Love" are single B-sides that now make their CD debuts. Additionally, "Driving Wheel" and "Pledging My Love," from Harris' White Shoes album, and The Ballad of Sally Rose's "White Line," "Rhythm Guitar" and "Timberline" will be included on the set, due May 1 from Rhino.

    May 8, 2001 - The "Songcatcher" movie soundtrack CD, featuring Emmy performing a cover version of "Barbara Allen", will reach stores on Vanguard on Tues., May 8. Others featured are Dolly Parton, Patty Loveless, Julie Miller, Deana Carter, Allison Moorer, Gillian Welch, Sara Evans, Rosanne Cash, Maria McKee, Iris DeMent, Hazel Dickens and Iris DeMent.

  • June 9, 2001 - St. Augustine, FL (World Golf Village) The Murray Bros. Caddyshack grand opening is a three-day event, June 7-9, including a celebrity golf tournament and concert. All proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Vincent's Foundation -- or more specifically, the St. Vincent's Mobile Outreach Ministry, a health facility on wheels that provides free medical services to the poor and needy in the community.
    The concert, featuring Emmylou Harris and Spyboy, is the culminating event of this Murray Bros. Caddyshack grand opening/St. Vincent's Foundation Charity Golf Event. Brannen, the opening band, should go on at 7, with Emmylou at 8:15. Instead of individual tickets, car passes are being sold for $40 at Jacksonville-area First Union financial centers (limit 6 people to a vehicle). VIP tickets, which grant access to a celeb reception before the concert and to special seating in front of the stage, are $100 and can be bought through the Foundation (904/308-7848).
