I am a woman's dog. Over time I bet I could learn to love a man, but boy, they sure make me nervous. I think I'd like a quiet life. I recently discovered the wonders of a couch and I'm hooked! How comfortable is that? I'm loyal, I'm loving, I'm told I'm really special and I can leap small buildings in a single bound. I enjoy walking. and I don't pull but I enjoy a brisk pace. I am sure I'm a house dog. You'll have to be persistant if you want me to live with you - between me being shy and my rescuers being in love with me, you'll need to take the time to fall in love with me too before they let me go. I'm that special. (Ginger is 2 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. She's a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix.)

I love to play. I love a good chew. I really like dogs. I really like people too, but you make me nervous at first. Once I get to know you, I'm good to go! I'm gentle natured but I can put on quite a show if I think you need protecting. Maybe we can work on that. I like to walk. I like squeeky toys. I'm currently henpecked by Ginger and I really like that. It would be great if we could get a home together but she can't be left outside alone unless you have a fortress. I am well loved by my human friends, but I would like a forever home so another dog like me gets a second chance to live. (Cisco is two years old and weighs about 45 pounds. First off, I'm gorgeous! I have eyes to die for. People will mention this and your head will swell. I love to play - squeaky toys, fetch, wrestling with dogs - these are a few of my favorite things. I'm young - I need exercise, play and love. I'm good on a leash unless I get distracted and then I'm very strong. I want to mention that I'm not fond of rain. Overall, I'm a wonderful dog and good with kids old enough to play safely with. With help, I could be good with cats and I'm really a lot of fun. Let me know if you're interested!

Ally is devoted to those who love her, a good listener, quick to learn, obedient, smart, funny, entertaining and caring. Crying over a sad movie? Ally will comfort you. She's fearful of men initially, but will warm up to them. She's patient with small children, good with older kids but she's not good with cats or female dogs.

Kiera has the most stunning eyes! She's a four year old black and tan mix who is very affectionate and playful. A product of divorce, she's four years old and is looking for a forever home.

Sasha is a possible Long Haired Retriever - that or a Lab mix. She's about a year and a half old and is very affectionate. She likes walks, playing fetch and being with people.
Bear is a 3 month old chow mix puppy who weigh a bit over 12 lbs. He's sweet, loyal, smart and incredibly cute! Playful but not hyper, he loves other dogs, playing with toys and food!

Paco is about four years old and weighs about 45 lbs. He's a collie/shepherd/chow mix and he's very sweet and gentle with people, including children. Very affectionate, marvelous looks, well mannered and a pleasure to walk with. He's not safe around cats and he hates the rain.
Cowboy ran out of time at Animal Control. Hard to believe, because this under a year old puppy is a doll! He's a mix of Great Pyrenees and maybe husky. He weighs about 55 lbs but he's not done growing. Cowboy is a gentle, goofy puppy who's quick to learn, quick to love and a handsome fellow to boot!

Heidi is about two years old and was rescued from a shelter when her time ran out, probably because she was too apprehensive there to be as adorable as she truly is.
