1985 - 2002
Emmylou is involved with several charitable organizations, including the Nashville Humane Association. In 1985, Emmylou adopted Jemima from the Humane Association. She died recently at the age of seventeen years. Besides being a pin up girl for the Purina calendar in 1993 when she was 8 years old, Jemima was a very sweet cat who is dearly missed.
The caption reads: "I first met Jemima in the kitten cage at the local animal shelter. She picked me out, and that#39;s an honor I#39;ll always be proud of."
Emmylou fosters three dogs at a time until they are ready for adoption.
