In response to message #0      Well one thing is for sure,she will never play the way she played before,if she plays at all. If she is Lucky,she will heal properly,and have no damage,if not,she might be able to play,in open tunings.Breaking a arm or a hand,in any musician is bad,but when you are a woman nearly 60,even a slight fracture, can be career ending. Well at least she can still sing, and if fortunate, really play the 12 bar Blues and know the Real thing. Emmylou's daughter Hallie is an old friend of mine, and I went to church with her mother Jeannie. Is she ok? I can't even quite figure out what happened to Emmylou. A wood chopping accident? How would that involve her Mom? I would love to hear family news, if anyone has any. I hear Hallie had a daughter of her own? I was really closest to Emmylou's uncle, Armand, who passed away years ago. He was the sweetest man; it put a smile on your face to be near him. Thanks for any info... Emmylou's slight fracture has not altered her guitar playing abilities in anyway.
