"Is Emmy Playing with a Band on this tour?"
 
   Hi all, I was wondering if anyone who's seen Emmy Lou on this tour can tell is she is playing with a band, or solo, or a duet with Buddy? Is buddy playing with a band, solo, or duet with Emmy? any info would be helpful.

   Emmy and Buddy are all acoustic. The two of them can really make a big sound with just their voices and guitars. This is something I also questioned before I saw them a few times this summer. Someone who had attended a show before me answered me by saying, and I quote, "There is no band, but you will see, the sound they make together leaves nothing to be desired."

Buddy switches up his choice instruments a few times, but there is never a band, nor is there the need for one. They sound flawless with the simplicity of the sound. These were my first 3 Emmylou shows, and seeing her live, and nearly unplugged, was pure HEAVEN!

   thanks for letting me know what to expect as i'm seeing emmylou and buddy the day after tomorrow in santa barbara, calif....... just two days of work then off till monday....yippee!

   Thank you for the reply...I was planning to go to Reno to see her, but opted for Bromberg in Petaluma...I will now be attending the Redwood City show....thanks for the description....
