"EVEN COWGIRLS GET THE BLUES"
 
   I just noticed on Amazon.com that they've released a re-mastered version of the Blue Kentucky Girl album, one of my favorites. Does anybody know if they corrected the beginning of the song "Even Cowgirls get the blues"? On the original CD, it seems that the first few words of the song are cut off. My father has the LP, and I think it has the same mistake too.

Another question...Is the album "Thirteen" available on CD anywhere, and in good quality?

I think the track "Even Cowgirls Get The Blues" is exactly as it was originally recorded on the newly remastered CD. It starts a little low in the mix so you may have thought there was something missing. Nice song though.

I believe Thirteen may be available on CD.

   Actually, Thirteen has never been released on CD.

   No Thirteen has not been OFFICIALLY released on CD, but hopefully one day soon! There are many of us who have very high quality LP transfers of the album on CD, perhaps you can share/trade for it!
