i liked this part - ""Me and my brothers would sing in church," Ahern recalled. "My dad played this great old organ. When the power went off my brother and I would have to push on this big pump lever until the service was over. When I wasn't pumping I was crawling inside to see how it worked."


Reminded me of my uncle Bob's vintage / antique pump organ that he had at home years and years ago... my brother and sister and my cousins and i used to take turns pumping the pedals and playing it. It was really tall, heavily carved and had some serious mojo.
