This forum is cooked , put a fork in it ! it`s done .. who remembers the good old days ?? Kate it certainly is not your fault , the old forum though was just so god damn user friendly ...this is kinda depressing , i used to look forward to coming on every day ,getting in lively discussions , it was so ... communal ...how do we say goodbye?? it`s like an old friend , we don`t want to let go but .. things have changed so .. i could tell stories for hours about this forum and all the friends i have made , things we shared , etc, ..but i don`t even have the desire to do that , it`s like i`m talking to myself .. anyway ,, i will still click on , see if anything is up , but not often .. all my friends here have my email address right ?? if not let me know ...... ONE LOVE !!!

Actually things are quite depressing. Massacre in Norway. Media/police/political scandals in UK. Greece, Ireland, Portugal and possibly Italy and Spain to follow.
Then the maniacs who pass for politicians in the US are taking you right to the brink. Mind you, if you lose your AAA rating, so what? It's only a device dreamed up by
some parasitic finance types - Mooneys, Standards Are Poor and Flinches. My rating on them can be counted on two fingers.
But O'bama seems to be losing control and that's bad for a control freak.
But worse is to come. There is now less than a year to go to the goddam awful Olympic Games. Our TV screens are full of self -righteous politicians and
administrators telling us how everything is coming in under budget and ahead of schedule. They are not talking about the original budget which was fraction
of the latest one. And I hate the Olympics themselves.
And now it's raining again. Bugger!

Mike, that is so not like you. I mean, you're usually so upbeat but now you're coming across like a grumpy old git, a GOG. Get a grip before you lose your sense of humour, that's presuming that you have one ;-) As for Craig, what can I say? You've changed so much over the past year or so. Only you know why but I don't believe that the new forum has anything to do with it. If I didn't know better, I would accuse you of trying to kill the forum. Yes, it's boring at times but then so are you and me and Russ and CJ and Mike and Susi although, you scared her away big time didn't you? I come on here for a bit of light relief after spending 8 hours a day trying to motivate the most negative individuals on the planet so I don't need any more fecking angst! You wanna talk, let's talk, afterall, what more options do you want? You've got "stuff that's not about Emmylou Harris", "Other artists" and "etc." Do you want a "Let's talk to Craig" option as I'm sure that Kate would gladly oblige if you asked her (she wouldn't do it for me but then I'm not in her special book ;-) And by the way, when did you last PM me? Sometimes I don’t know how or why Kate puts up with us. She’s always been extremely patient... OK, OK I shouldn’t have mentioned the Rupert thing over there in the other column. You gonna hang me for it? I mean I was all set to say how much I loved Amy’s beehive hairdo and her multi-hued tattoos but then I lost it going for the Rupert thing. Sheesh!
Then I was going to go over to the baseball forum and ask why our newest Jay, Colby Rasmus - CF - arrives fresh from St Louis with that hang dog look like Tony La Russa wouldn’t see him off at the airport or something.
Cut me some slack will you ; )

A simple question from a person who understand absolutely nothing in 90% of the posts in this forum - it's mostly for the few with inside knowledge! - how can you write negative about the forum when you don't know how it works?

Oh i know how the forum works .. i was just having troubles with the private messages ,, and as far as saying negative things , well i was just stating how I feel about the "new" forum .. i liked the old one better with the exception of a few things And who is Renee ?? I like you .. i like the term FRIED ..i consider it a term of .. endearment .. it used to be used to describe someone that had taken too much LSD ..man bring back the good old days ..i don`t think anyone every robbed a convenience store to buy more acid ... Well Craig, I'm glad you like me. Hope I haven't offended you. I'm a Cajun, mother of one, married and a middle aged music fan. Emmylou Harris is high on my list. I am a number cruncher (CPA) born, reared, and living in hot, humid south Louisiana (God's Country). 98 degrees today. Just purchased "Roses in the Snow" and love the last song the most. Now, get out of your funk!
