Arlene, are you a Giants fan? I guess so, even if it's just for today. How many Super Bowl parties were there around the globe yesterday? Can’t imagine.

At the little house party I attended, the women as a group bet the 3 point favourite ‘Patriots’ and the guys graciously accepted the ‘Giants‘. Well at halftime we were down 1 point, 10-9. Now everyone knows the outcome - so it’s a free restaurant meal for the guys, our choice of venue. Tah-dah! The women will be there to pay of course.

I love baseball more than football but I do root for the G-Men over the Jets.

FYI, for reasons never clear to me, for NY sports fans in the greater metropolitan area, if you are a Yankees fan, odds are you also root for the Giants in football, the Rangers in hockey and the Knicks in basketball, but if you are a Mets fan, you are more likely to root for the Jets in football and, in prior years, when they were good, the Islanders in hockey, and the Nets in basketball.

Arlene i dislike the Giants 10 fold over the yanks ..like you i am mostly baseball,BUT i love a good football game and got to see a few this year.... did not attend a sb party in fact barely watched the game .. old girlfriend was over i did watch the 2nd and 4 th quarters rooted for the Pats ...my Giant hatred goes back 20 years when roger craig fumbled away a sure win in another NFC title game 15-13 and i associate the big tuna with the giants and i woul like to punch him in the face ! really dis like thaT man

Kate bobby v has to go now .. trust me , this is not a good fit .. i am sorry but it will be a long year in Boston ,, and a longer year in hot lanta ! Now in the midwest ..st louis ,home of the wolrd champions ...it has a good vibe , just like i have been crowing beltran and furcal will be re born ! and yadi will earn every penny .. i like methany so far ...very , very early i hope i don`t get this shoved back up my arse come septemnber !!
