On a different note, did you read that Manny R retired today after failing another drug test? -- he faced a 100 game suspension.....

I think it it so sad that someone ever came up with the idea of PEDs. Someone like Manny, who had a real talent - this puts that asterisk by his name. And probably deservedly so. I hate to see favorite players age out of the game, but I'd rather see Varitek being the back up catcher than Manny or Bonds or Clemens etc trying to be something they aren't anymore.
